Obscene Baby Auction is a DIY music collective and record label formed in Leeds in 2001. Between 2001 and 2007 Andy Abbott, Giles Bailey, James Islip and Graham Pilling organised regular gigs featuring bands from the UK, Europe and occasionally beyond, most of whom felt some affinity with the ‘DIY ethos’. OBA also released records in vinyl format that attempted to document the local scene at that particular time.
Presently Andy is putting on DIY gigs mostly in the Bradford area under the OBA name. See news and upcoming gigs for details.
